Valley 5 Pens 2

Game one sees the VML crew with a 5-2 win over the East Hants Penguins.
Yep Lucky thirteen is in the books with lucky number 13 Makail Parker(need a nickname) making a couple of bookends with the first goal to get the crew going and an empty netter to finish it off. Michael 'MD' Dill the 'doctor', Jonathan 'Cheerios' Hunson and Colin 'Willis' Gillis added singles. Chipping in with assists were Squires, Feltmate, Brooker, Longaphy, Gillis with a few and Haysee with a couple. Yet again ole 'Shorty' missed out on an assist on the first goal. Yep the boys were pretty solid on Defense as well. Some of the crew had the mullets happening with ole Haysee doing a little ZZ top as a "sharp dressed man"
Rip's 'nod' goes to Colin 'Willis' Gillis with a four point night and Ken Dryden stack of the pads block(welcome back) honourable mentions to Makail with the bookends and Culley with a solid effort between the pipes.
Now with it being playoffs I'm sure the crew are gonna take it easy and rest up and be ready to roll again with a 5:30 puck drop on Sunday.
