Teams
- 20 players and max of three non-players on the bench (There is a section with stools, right beside the benches …. allowing the trainer to sit there and not count against the 23 #.) It also gives the trainer direct access to the bench from behind and the ice through their own door.
- Players and all associated team travellers (not spectators) are to enter through the 1st door they see upon entering the parking lot (not via the main entry doors). All exterior facility doors are locked but VML will have staff @ the players’ entrance to admit you. Please try and enter in two or three groups [versus one @ a time] and do not enter prior to 30 minutes before warm-up.
- The visiting team has been assigned one dressing room (#1) by the facility. @ the conclusion of the game, the visiting team is to please exit within 30 minutes via the main doors (a different way than they entered).
- The visiting teams are responsible for Covid screening and retaining that information, should it be requested by the facility @ a later date. The VML maintain a screening record of all VML players, coaches and volunteers and will screen the on ice officials upon their arrival.
- @ present, the facility is not permitting the use of the showers.
- Masks are required inside the facility, except while on the ice.
- Water bottles are to be labelled for the use of one individual participant and sharing of water bottles is not permitted.
- While on the ice, participants (and coaches, if a practice) are to leave their helmets and gloves on.
- Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended to be sure to gain entry. VML are using ‘Event Brite’ which facilitates both individual contact info accumulation and pre Covid screening prior to entry. Spectators are admitted 30 minutes prior to game time and their ticket (on their phone or printed) can quickly be scanned.
- Masks are to be worn @ all times. Practice social distancing when moving about and standing or sitting (if not within your ‘bubble’). There is no food or drink available in the facility and it is not permitted to bring either in from outside the facility.
- Spectators will be asked to use the provided hand sanitizer upon entry and remain in their ‘area’ unless going to the washrooms, which are located both upstairs and down. There is a two-person elevator for use by those that wish to do so. (Maximum washroom occupants @ one time is limited and posted.)
- There are 200 spectators permitted and seating is marked to allow proper ‘distancing ‘and accommodation of various sized ‘bubbles’. Loads of standing room plus a ground floor viewing room and upstairs heated viewing room, Chairs in both the latter have been spaced to allow distancing but can be moved closer together for ‘bubble’ groups.
- Upon the conclusion of the game, spectators will be **divided [**according to their viewing position / location] and directed to exit either by the main entrance or the entrance upstairs.
