2014-02-07The Valley Maple Leafs pick up another two points to put them tied for first place in the Fox division.
This is my second go at this report..............darn 'puter's' or maybe it was the operator, anyways typing along like a madman and Iook up and there it was gone. Now any of you out there that have done the same know the words that came out of my mouth and it wasn't truck.
Yep the VML crew got Haysee's number in the book and are shooting for Feltmate's.
The River Rats call up's Young and Whidden picked a few points each with Young getting his first and second VML goals and Widden picking up his a goal and two assists.
Brownie had a four point night and poor ole 'Shorty' was held off the board again with his assists either not being acknowledged or given to someone else. Th ref's just never seem to get his number...Yeh old man Fish your hearing is better than mine. That's at least five times I know of this year that he missed out on obvious assists that he should have had. Now sometime it' the poor writing on the gamesheets but points missed nonetheless.
Anyways a W in the W column is big with the VML in first based on less games played. Keep up the good work boys and we don't want to hera 'Hair of the Dog' as an excuse in Antigonish this weekend.
