The Valley crew down the first place Blazers in a solid effort with a little 'Toe to toe Dosey Doe' action
Yep the ole game sheet was pretty full in the penalty section . It was a good ole fashioned 'Barn Burner' with a lot of hard hits and a few 'Barn dances' I imagine a few of the boys are pretty sore this morning. The crew are now just one point behind the Blazers with a game in hand and currently one point away from a gauranteed playoff spot. Scoring for the Valley were Anderson although I'm told Brooker tipped that one, the main thing is it found the back of the net. Brooker than got the second with Haysee putting the boys up 3-2 at 8:21 of the second period, Feltmate made it 4-2 late in the second then got another to make it 5-2 midway through the third. Picking up the helpers were; 'Cheerios' with two, 'Newf' Normore with two, and 'Palmolive','Swainer' and 'Tires' Squires picking up singles. I'm pretty sure 'Shorty' had a helper on one of the Feltmate goal but it didn't find the gamesheet.
Speaking of 'Shorty' I like his number although I like Kyle 'Thumper' Kavanagh's number 8 better and Willis's' number would be just what the Doctor ordered if ya know what I'm saying. I don't want to be the one that jinxes it.
I'm not sure who got the 'Hat' although it might be 'Good Golley' it's Culley with 30 saves between the pipes.
Rip's 'nod' by way of 'Tee Why the Twitter Guy' goes to "Normore(Newf) and Felts(Palmolive) for being filthy" I believe that's modern lingo to mean they were 'wicked' especaily on the 'Newf' pass to 'Palmolive' on the fifth goal, Honouralbe mentions to 'Palmolive' with the three point night and 'Golley' between the pipes.

Now it's time to rock 'n' roll on a ROAD TRIP to Eastern Shore where one in the 'W' column would secure a playoff spot and put the VML crew in first place. It's gonna be tough with Eastern Shore playing playoff hockey.
