The VML crew bring home a big two points, they had to make it hard on the ole ticker though, giving up a two goal lead early in the third.  I had visions of last year when the Scotian's got four goals in the third for the win.  Luckily David Hayes who got 'The Hat' got the game winner assisted by Brandon 'Spidey' Parker with 11:21 to go in the third and the crew hung on for the win with some big saves by Culley, I especailly liked the big toe save in the second..  The boys got on the board first in the second period on a goal by Normore assisted by Squires who put in a big effort from the corner out.  I kinda liked that BLB line; Big Little Big or MSN; Moore,Squires,Normore. The VML second goal was tipped in by 'Spidey' Parker on a hard point shot from Kavanagh assisted by Gillis.  Both teams played like they had a hard night...Pictou with a big win in Glace Bay Saturday....and I'd say a night out got the best of the VML crew.  A big win nonetheless.

Rip's 'nod' goes to Gillis with another Energizer Bunny effort with two big blocked shots and an assist.  Honourable mentions to Culley who was SOLID between the pipes and 'Spidey' with a two point night and Haysee with the winner.

On a side note you've heard of a back seat driver?  Well you can also have a back seat passenger as well.  Yep that's when the back seat passenger tells the front seat passenger to sit up. lean over etc.  Captain Dill 'er' I mean old man Dill is the definition of Back seat passenger.
