Valley 2 Elks 3

The Elks come outta the Barn with a 3-2 shootout victory.
The crew just can't win from the penalty box.... hmmm maybe they thought the penalty box was like a tree stand and give them a better shot from there....the only thing is they forgot to bait with apples.
Anyway here's the league write up. Note I changed the second goal to Mitch Normore instead of Jeff Longophy.
"And at the Hants County Arena in Windsor the last place Brookfield Elks upset the first place Valley Maple Leafs 3-2 in a shootout.
Mitchell Scott scored the only goal in the shootout giving the Elks their 5th win of the year.
Matt Canning and Jordan Ashley pulled the trigger for the Elks who led 1-0 after one; still 1-0 after two then tied at two after sixty minutes. Adriano Digioaccino and Mitch Normore(correction) scored for the Leafs.
Spencer Scott picked up the win while Joe Hines took the loss.
Final shots 39-31 Valley."
