Valley 8 Mariners 5

The crew looked a little shaky at first but then Mitch 'Newf' Normore got the boys on the board with a feed from Alex ' Palmolive' Felmate and Kyle Kavanagh. Then it was  the'Local Yocals' line of Swain, MacDougal and Brown who picked up three goals in the first, they also picked up the 'Hat' for their efforts. I gues they will take turns wearing it out on the town.  Things leveled out in the second with Colin 'Much' Moore keeping the VML crew up by one on a feed from Parker and 'Palmolive'.  In the third 'Much' made it 6 for the VML crew again fed by Parker and the'Newf'.  Haysee added an insurance marker assisted by Jonathon 'Cheerios' Hunson it was 'Cheerios' second assist on the night.  Then it was ole 'Haysee' again with an empty netter...it went in...assisted by Palmolive with his third assist of the night.  There was even a barn dance early in the third with Dryden 'Duster' Schofield having a little 'toe to toe dosey doe' with MacDonald.  Big win boys I believe it's the first win over those darn Mariners for the Valley ever.  Whooo Hooo.

Rip's nod goes to the 'Local Yocals' with 'Roomys' Swainer ands MacDougal picking up three points. Honourable mentions to 'Palmolive' for getting the dishes done with three assists on the night and to 'Duster' for the 'Dosey Doe'

Reminder the game at the Bay originally scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled.
