Valley 2 Bulldogs 1

I'm not sure if it was the fog or whether the boys had too many treats Thursday night but both teams seemed a little off, or maybe it was my eyesight....Noo it was the fog. Swainer got the crew on the board first with a pretty setup from Gillis and Haysee at 9:08 of the first period.  The Dogs got the only goal of the second period. Shorty got the pinball goal for the win with just under three minutes to go in the third. 'Spidey" err I mean Parker got the gate at the end of the first for a little "toe to toe dosey doe" action.  I'm thinking he might have a sore paw.  Dryden "Duster 'Schofield got to keep him company.  Young Mitch Singer decided to join them early in the second when he got the gate for a hit from behind.  

All and all it's another "W" and I did get a few more of the crew's pictures up on the roster and I think I even got the full shot of  Mitch 'Friday'.

Rip's 'nod' goes to 'Willis' Gillis with the setup and the good defensive play stacking the pads to block a shot with honourable mentions to Mitch Culley with another 'Friday' win and "The Hat".  Oh and nice dance by 'Spidey'

 Next up:
Little Rookie party, rest up, chores on Wednesday and back in the Barn again next Friday....minus the fog hopefully to host the division rival Brookfield Elks.
