Valley 7 Scotians 3

Yep the boys have been 3-0 since Freddie's return to the lineup keeping them pumped up on H2O.  The boys put in a pretty solid team effort with six different scorers with Feltmate getting two.  They may have been a little lucky, getting into the box a bit too much.  In case you don't know boys it's not the penalty box you should be trying to get in to.  Luckily the penalty kill was pretty good killing off the first seven penalties successfully.  There were some pretty goals right from first one scored by Brown followed by Felmate's great second effort on the rebound from a breakaway to put the crew up by two late in the first.  I also liked young Micahel Dill's(who got the hard hat) setup of Parker on the 4th goal.  Rounding out the scoring it was Haysee, Gillis and MacDougal. Defensively I gotta say Dryden "Duster" Schofield's imitation of Ken Dryden stacking the pads(shin pads) to kick one out on one of the penalty kills in the second was highlight reel material. "Palmolive" Feltmate had a 4 point night with his lineys; Gillis and Hayes picking up three points a piece.  There was even a good ole barn dance with 'Duster' and Verge doing a little 'toe to toe dosey doe" in the third.  All and all a good night of Junior B hockey in Windsor.

Rip's 'nod' goes to the team effort win at "the Barn" with honourable mention to Mitch Culley between the pipes.  On the down side it would have been nice to see through the glass eh?

Next Up Road Trip tonight to take on the Eastern Shore Junior Mariners,  hopefully we do a little better against them then we did last year.
