Cape Breton teams with wins on the Weekend
2013-10-06The Valley crew lost both games on the weekend trip to Cape Breton.
The crew were hit 'hard' so to speak as they didn't have much success in any shape or form once they crossed the causeway. They started with a 4-2 in the Strait on Friday followed by a 10-2 loss in Glace Bay on Saturday. Yep the crew has to learn that the on ice 'Law" is not your friend.
If it was a car I'd say the carb needs a little 'tweakin' so that when ya crack the four barrels you get that almighty "WHOMP" rather than the "Bah" of late. I don't think the crew is off a lot but it'll come.
Rip's 'nod' on the weekend goes to the bus driver who had 'er' fired up and ready to go so the boys could put Cape Breton in the rear view.
Next up: Carburetor adjustment or in the case of this new stuff maybe flash the "puter".
Til then adjust that linkage so ya can put er to the floor.
