Valley wins Game 1 of the weekend series 3-2

Valley puts one in the "W" column to start the season with 3-2 win over the Bay Ducks Friday night in Liverpool.
The crew looked a little rusty at first but seemed to come around once they got the rust off the Blades. Yours truly is a little rusty as well and will probaly take more than a period before the 'Ripper" gets back in the groove with the updates here. So.... bare with me.
The boys pulled off the win on goals from Dryden Schofield, Alex Feltmate, and David "Haysee" Hayes. Hmm... we need a few more nicknames this year. Any help or suggestions for some of these new guys would be great. I hear one of the fella's has a nickname like "Beehive" or something I'll have to check into that one.
Rip's "nod" in this one goes to Alex Feltmate one of the new guys with a goal and 2 assists(welcome aboard) with honourable mentions going to Colin Gillis(who is no longer "The Rook" I guess). with a three point night. Craig Anderson with the "C" looked solid as well.
Game 2 of the "103" series take place tonight at the "Pond" Here's hoping the boys took 'er' easy last night and are ready for a second serving of Duck.
