Let the Games begin
2013-09-19The crew start off the 2013/14 season this weekend with a double serving of Duck.
Sorry I missed the Humpday report but there really wasn't much to report if you know what I'm saying. Actually it's been a tough week with a few final cuts being made to get the roster down to size. I'm glad that's not my department as those are tough decisions to make.

VML would like to thank all of those who participated in this years tryout sessions, and I assure you that based on each players play very difficult decisions were made, that continues to weigh heavy on the organization. That being said it's a part of Jr. hockey I'm sure there will be more difficult decisions to follow.
For those of you who are age appropriate again next year, or know others who will be, we hope and encourage you to join us again, and become a future VML.
Keep you stick on the ice, play hard, continue to train, and most of all respect your efforts; I know we sure did.
Thank you all again, I hope to see you out supporting our VML this season.

This weekend sees the crew doing a little 103 action with a trip to Liverpool on Friday night for a home away form home opener against those pesky Ducks, then back to the Duck Pond in St Margarets Bay Saturday night for a second serving.
