Hump Day a good day to
Give a mid summer report...too hot for anything else. Yep it's the final hump day of July and we're on the down hill side of summer. Just August left then it's time to start playing a little puck.
The Valley crew have been busy behind the scenes getting things ready for the 2013/2014 season. In July we had our first annual Golf tournament which from all accounts was a success and helped put some money in the account. Thanks to all those that supported the tournament and we hope to see you back next year.
The Valley Maple Leafs will be bringing Junior B hockey back to "The Barn" in Windsor this year as well as some games at the Appledome in Berwick. When the final schedule is approved we will post it.
The coaches and staff want you...well maybe not you but any of you that are looking to play some good old Junior B hockey this year to come out to the tryouts, info on the team facebook page here:

Whoops forgot we don't all have the Book Face thingy so here is a copy of what's posted there.

Yours truly is a little rusty/lazy with the off season but as we get closer to the Season expect more updates.

As we enter into August our organization must start getting things underway for the 2013/14 Nova Scotia Jr. B Hockey Season.
Both Josh and I would like to invite, and encourage all interested and eligible players to join us in the Valley Maple Leafs Official 2013 Training Camp, as we prepare for the upcoming season.
We currently have three ice times booked in Kentville, as our plan includes both practice & full contact inter-squad games.
In addition, we will also be competing in the pre-season Fred Fox Division Tournament the weekend of September 13th -15th in Tantallon, NS. Those players who poise the skill, strength, conditioning, commitment and ability will move on in our identification camp and process. Best of luck to all.

Registration will commence an hour before the scheduled ice time and a fee of $50.00 per player will be charged at that time. Cash or cheque will be accepted prior to, or the day of.
Please make cheques payable to the "Valley Maple Leafs".
KENTVILLE ICE TIMES:
September 5th 7:30-9:00PM (Pls arrive by 6:30pm for registration and proper stretching)
September 8th 8:30-10:00PM (Pls arrive by 7:30pm for registration and proper stretching)
September 11th 9:00-10:30PM (Pls arrive by 8:00PM for registration and proper stretching)
Please socialize the above with all potentially interested parties.
The strength of our team starts with you, and how you work with and for the player(s) beside you!"
