The crew lose the series in a game five squeaker.
The crew lost a close one(we all know the deal on that) and the series to the Sackville Blazers last night. Now I know we were all hoping to see the old guys get to do chores again at the ole Barn on Thursday night, however it just wasn't meant to be. Old guys you say, well that would be the overagers:
Jake 'Sport' Galbraith
Austin 'Himmer' Himmelman
Nathan 'Cap'n' Little
Jory "Nuts' Uhlman
Yep it's been a pleasure to watch these fine 'old'young men the last few years and I'm sure they will be successful in their future endeavours. The VML crew wish you old fella's all the best and remember to keep yer stick on the ice and the foot to da floor.
All in all you gotta say it was a pretty good year considering just over eight months ago there wasn't even a team. It took a lot of hard work, Great Sponsors, Great players, Great fans and don't forget the #1 fans as is the case with a lot teams The Parents.
Yep made the playoffs in the tough Fred Fox division and played pretty darn good when they were there.

Rip's 'nod' in this one goes to Olafr "Smiddy" Schmidt with the stellar performance between the pipes and to ole Five hole Andy(Craig Anderson) for taking a shot (something the crew gatta do more of next year) and getting the lone goal.
