Valley 4 Blazers 2

The boys got  their first puck on 'the stick' with the win over Sackville last night.  The 5'5" crew acounted for three of the goals with ole "Shorty" stealing an unassisted one to get the boys on the board first.  The second Valley goal was tipped in by "Sport' on a Little shot from the point assisted by Parker.  A good one showing the old SHOOT strategy works.  The Valley's 3rd goal late in the second cause that's when he likes them came from another of the 5'5" crew when the 'Rook' put one in from 'Haysee' and 'Nuts' who worked hard in the corner.  Valley's 4th goal came on a beauty from another of the 5'5" crew when "Tires' found the back of the net with some 'Fish' food..that would be a feed from 'Fish'.  'Darth' stopped 33 shots between the pipes for the win.  Oh and a shout out to the penalty kill that was solid as always...a good thing too as the boys got in a lot of trouble with the 'law'. This was one of the few times the song was wrong.

Rip's nod goes to old, yeh old "Nuts' with the blocks and the hard work, with honourble mentions to the 5'5" crew and Mader between the pipes.

Next up: Valley's first ever playoff home game at the Apple barrel.. yeh I know Appledome but I'd rather a barrel of fun.
