Grrrr Leafs 1 Blues 3 with an empty net goal

I think the Gods were with the Blues who wanted to end their year on a winning note more than the crew wanted to secure a playoff spot.  The tendies played solid in both ends of the rink with the Valley crew only finding the back of the net once and the Blues twice and an empty netter.  I guess it really wasn't that bad of an effort  with a few too many penalties and not the result required.

So as  the song says "It's now or never" tonight against the Elks where a win could put the crew back into third along with the Hockey Gods wanting to see the Penquins end their year on a winning note  and a little help from our ole buddy 'McKendry the Tendy' and his Cape Breton crew with a win over the Mariners.  Yep a WIN and a prayer required and the crew are in the post season.  Simple eh?

Rips 'nod' goes to 'Smiddy' with another good game between the pipes...sooner or latter the offence gotta get a win .

WIN and pray or is it pray and WIN?  I don't know but if they do both and a little help from the Hockey Gods and they should be good to go tonight.
