Mariners 3 Valley 2
2013-02-02Another hard on the "Ticker" game.
Hmmmmmm, or maybe Hmmmmmmm, but on the other hand Hmmmmmmmmm and another thing Hmmmmmmm. Imagine the ole Ripper doesn't know what to say.
Actually the crew came out pretty good and when they killed off the 5 on 3 penalty with a 1-0 lead midway through the first I thought they were looking really good. Then the 2nd period happened and to quote ole TW the twitter guy "Schmitt is the only reason this game is tied right now. Not a good period for the crew" Yep the crew only had five shots(SHOOT) in the 2nd frame. They got the lead back 5 mins into the third then gave it up 2mins latter. The Mariners pulled ahead with 4:08 left in the third. That old song "I fought the Law and Law won" got them again although the crews only goals were on the power play.
On the up side the Crew should be in good shape for the ROAD TRIP today as they never had anything to celebrate last night. I'm hoping the the boys put up that darn "W" tonight, actually a few in a row would be cool.
So here's hoping the boys get the 'hitch' outta their 'get along' and 'giddy up' and 'git r won'. Please!! I don't want the ticker to go tock.
Rip's 'nod' goes to Olafr 'Schmitty' Scmhidt who more than did what he's supposed to with honourable mentions to Freddie and Frank for having to deal with Dill and Lindsay on the drive home.

til then keep yer stick on the ice and when that puck hits it SHOOT and keep yer foot to the floor 'errrrr' in the case of the crew "PUT IT TO THE FLOOR,"Mash it",Stand on it","Give er","Pedal to the metal" whatever one ya like but 7:30 tonight would be a good time to "mat it"
