Nuff said
It was a night of two's with four players getting two goals and it takes two to 'dosey doe' and there were two of those with both 'Stretch' and Parker taking turns on the floor in the third. It was a good thing 'Nuts' grew those helmit straps on the side of his face as they probaly came in handy holding the 'Hard Hat' on that he got for his six point performance with 2 goals and 4 assists. The whole 'HUG line had a big night with Hayes and Gillis each getting 5 pts with 2 goals and three assists a piece. Ole 'Shorty' got book ends with a goal to start the boys off on a luvly pass from 'Himmer' and 'Tires" and another goal to finish off the scoring assisted by Cap'n Little with his second assist of the night. 'Mack' picked up the other goal assisted by 'Fish' and 'Slim".
The DMen: Anderson,Kavanagh, Little,Longaphy,Lowthers and Mackenzie had another good night allowing only 24 shots. 'Darth' (black Mask) Mader with a good game between the pipes.
I believe it was the reflection in the Pen's goalie's eyes off of the 'Ripper's' stylin glasses that got the boys going in the 2nd. Heh it was 5-0 for a bit there. The win was a good present to get on the 29th anniversary of my 21st birthday. Hmm.. the scenery I saw at the bar after were probaly closer to that 21, "Doesn't matter where you get your appetite so long as you go home to eat." Dale Evans who also celebrated the big Five Ohh last night was happy for the crew as well, I bet he feels like fifty this morning.
I'm hoping the crew took it pretty easy last night, unlike some of the older 'boys' I was hangin with last night(you can dress em up but ya can't take em out), as the crew have a big ROAD TRIP today to the Igloo to try for another "W" to keep the playoff run going. It's literaly play off hockey now with the teams with the wins getting to move on. Yep she's tight in the Fox division.
Rip's 'nod' goes to the man with the 'Hat', Jory 'Nuts' Uhlman with honourble mentions to all the the team with the much needed "W".
