Valley 4 Duck 2

Ahh! just messing with ya again.  It was good to see "Sport" leaving with the "Hat on"  cause as you all know they only give out the "Hat" after a win.  The boys finally get one back in the "W" column with the second serving of duck on Saturday night.  Duck must be like stew...better with each serving.   Anyways it looked more like the Valley crew we got used to seeing at the start of the year at one point in the first period the shot clock was at 15-2 in favour of the Crew.  I gotta say though my favorite goal of the game was the one by "Haysee" on rebound off the shot by "Nuts" Uhlman at the end of the second to put the boys up 3-2 .....it proves the ole "SHOOT rebound SHOOT" score than celebrate theory.  They don't always have to be fancy pass plays....Soooo if ya got a shot take it and maybe that guy you were gonna try to pass to might get the rebound and or the darn thing might go in.

The crew I was traveling with musta had a hat on tooo as they were pretty excited about the win on the way home.  Keep em cumming boys.

Rip's 'nod" goes to the solid Valley Maple Leafs team effort with honourble mentions to the Dmen for keeping the shot clock low (Longo with goal and assist) and last and not least to the parents that probaly had a happier drive home than the slippery one in.
