Shoot out Loss last night 4-3 to the Elks.

It was yet another close game. Too bad we weren't playing Horshoes as we had more leaners and close to the pin...just not enough ringers.
I think both teams were off with the bigger ice surface I know I was because it was more excercise to get to one side from the other than usual. Anyways it was a close one with the boys owning the shot clock and some of the ringers they did get were off the posts. I as usual would have liked to se a more shots especially when the winger comes in.....SHOOT maybe your center or other winger will get the rebound...maybe you will and maybe the darn thing will go in....it happens.
The upside is the crew still only have 3 in the L column the down is they have 5 in the SO and OT columns in total. Upside, the creware at the top of the standings for now with 25 point the same as the Blazers but have two games in hand. The down side is other teams are coming. It's been one of the most competitive seasons in a while with all teams close. So all you people out there with NHL withdrawal should start getting your butts to the rink for some good NSJHL action.
Rip's nod goes to "Himmer" with the first goal and honourable mentions to "Sport" and new guy Connor Dobrota with 2 assists each.
ROAD TRIP...Yep the boys are off to Eastern Shore tonight to take on the Mariners. The crew will be short staffed due to that darn Saturday night exam thing. Here's the plan boys, after the warm up take off your skates,socks and Jerseys than put em back on...that extra pre game stretch warmup worked in Sackville...just saying.
Anyways people get out to the local rinks and support JrB hockey, you can also buy some tickets from the boys to get those extra presents under the tree.
