Character win over the Blazers
2012-12-04
The boys probaly slept good tonight er last night after a short bench, lots of ice time 3-2 win over the Blazers Monday night at the fire shed.
Yeh I gotta borrow a little material from the "Twit heads" every once in awhile. I found that Santa pic on one of the Twit heads twit pages or whatever ya call them. Other material I've come across is a "Gally BarDown" I'm not really sure what that is, but if it was the cool backhanded goal "Sport" got while shorthanded, I like it and hope to get to use it again.
Anyway the boys put in a solid team effort for the win with Parker picking up the "Hat", hard hat that is. Oh for you thousands of new readers out there that's the Hard hat the boys give out to whoever they think deserves it. The "Hat" is only given out after wins. So it's always nice when someone gets the "Hat". Oh there's one more hat as the "RooK" Collin Gillis picked up a hat trick in the assit department last night.
The ole ticker got quite a work out in this one and I think I coulda done with out the 2 min Heart Aerobics er I mean penalty in the final minutes. Luckily the boys pulled er off and the the ole heart will tick some more.

Rip's nod goes to the Crew for the solid team effort. Honourable mentions to the Culley and to Gillis with the three point night.
Next up the home opener at Acadia when the Elks come to town.
