Road win for the crew
2012-11-03The boys start off muzzy Mowvember with a 6-2 road win over the Antigonish Bulldogs.
The boys started out slow in front of the pretty good sized crowd that was on hand. Antigonish led 1-0 after one at which point the crew finally got the lead outta their (you know) and started to put it the Dog net. Actually the boys coulda used a few pounds of lead on their stick to keep it on the ice in first the period and a half or maybe a bigger blade would've helped pick up some of those missed passes.
Five different players scored with Swainer picking up two goals. Provencal had a three point night with a goal and two assists. Gillis with a goal and assist. The D men had a big night allowing only 19 shots with Shorty and Captain Little also picking up 2 assists each with both also being robbed of a goal by a hot glove hand of the Dog Tendy. Olafr Scmidt with the win between the pipes.
