The Boys finally get their notch in the L column

The undefeated Pirates remain that way with a 6-5 win over the Leafs last night in Kentville.

I'm thinking it might not have been such a bad idea after all to dress a few of those pumpkin people that are all around Kentville.  The boys were a lot like an old diesel engine on a real cold day...they could have used a little ether(quick start) as they really didn't get going until the second period.  I'll give them credit though they never gave up and kept it a close one.  Full results here:

Perhaps the boys had home coming on their mind,  or maybe they were looking forward to the pumpkin parade today in Windsor either way I'm sure it's not the result they were looking for.

Next up:
The crew will be in Windsor today for the parade and the regatta,  hopefully selling lots of the Octoberfest 50/50 tickets.

Rip's "nod" goes to Randy Graham and Laurie Young who were out in the cold flipping burgers at the Dill Farm in Windsor on Saturday to raise money for the Team.  Honourable mentions to the boys for not giving up, and I kinda liked that one"Sport" batted in outta the air.
