Valley lose in OT 3-2 to the Mariners
2012-10-06The Valley Maple Leafs manage to tie it up late in the game forcing the third ovetime in as many games.
I gotta tell ya boys it's getting hard on the Ole Ripper's heart these OT and shoot out games. Oh well on the up side the team hasn't got any marks in the "L" column yet. It sure would be nice to see a couple more in the "W" column though, because if you look up in the standings there's those pesky Ducks with their three wins.
Last night's game was pretty close with good goal tending at both ends of the ice. Mitch Culley with the good job between the pipes for the Valley and local Windsor boy Joe Hines was in nets for the Mariners. Andrew Squires put the Leafs on the board and it was David Hares keeping his scoring streak alive tying it up late in the third.
Rip's nod in this one is a toss up between TW's good work keeping people that can't make the games up to date on twitter located here

The Boys hope to see you all at the Dome tonight for their game against the Dogs, hopefully they will be putting some rubber in the net while yours truly hopes to be putting some rubber down at the start line in Oysterbed Bridge.
