"Tis" the Season

The Fall Season is pretty much here and time to get back to the rinks for some Junior B hockey and there's no better place to kick it off than at the Appledome in Berwick tonight to watch the Valley Maple Leafs hit the ice.
Game time is 8:00 pm and were hoping for a good turnout to start off the regualr season and of course welcome the team to the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League(NSJHL).
The Sid Rowe division Glace Bay Jr. Miners are in town for their only trip to the Valley this year, unless of course we were to meet them in the playoffs(wouldn't that be cool). For those that don't know there are two divisions in the NSJHL; The Fred Fox(Leafs) and the Sid Rowe(Miners) the complete division list can be found on the NSJHL site here http://nsjhl.ca/page.php?page_id=8002
Bottom line is, if you want to get a regular season look at Glace Bay or Pictou(Saturday night in Kentville) you best be at the games this weekend. The regualr season schedule has Leafs playing teams from the other division twice one home and away.
So after all that we hope to see you at one of the arena's this weekend cheering on the home town crowd. Soooo grab luvy, buddy/buddies and we'll see ya at the Dome.
