The Valley Maple Leafs hit the ice

The boys taking in instrustions and a bit of air.
After a lot of behind the scenes work by bunch of volunteers the newly formed Valley Maple Leafs were on the ice in Kentville.
It was good to see a good turn out for the first practice/tryouts in Kentville last night as the Valley Leafs hit the ice for the first time this season. There's been a lot of behind the scene hard work to get this far in the short time we have had and rather gratifying to see the crew that showed up for the practice. It was cool to see a quite few of the former Royal crew on hand for tryouts along withh a couple of other familiar faces in Tyler Whynot and Erik Jackaman helping out with the pratice.
The boys are looking forward to going to the ole Duck Pond(St. Margarets Bay Fountain arena) this weekend for the tournament, game times as follows:
Sat Sep 9th 0:900 Valley Maple Leafs vs EasternShore Junior Mariners
Sat Sep 9th 2:00 PM or for you 24 hour guys 14:00 hrs it's Sackville Blazers vs Valley Maple Leafs
Sun Sep 10 14:00 hrs it's Brookfiled Elks vs Valley Maple Leafs
