The VML crew lose in four to the Miners
Game 4 was a close one, more what I thought the whole series would be like between two good teams. Congrats to Glace Bay who will go on and represent the NSJHL at the DOJO. The NSJHL should be proud as I saw some of the best hockey I've seen this year. I'm thinking Glace Bay will fare well on the Island (the other Island). League write up about the champs here. I thought both teams played pretty classy throughtout the series. Maybe in hindsight it would have been nice for the VML crew to stay on the ice for the banner presentation, that and it would have been cool for the boys to be on the ice when Coline Gillis was presented MVP of the playoffs by the League. Yep Gillis earned that one. We probaly made a few other mistakes as well, but heh it's the first time they've been this far. Yes sir longest playoff beard the 'Ripper's' ever had....and the wifey is glad it's gone. There is an upside eh?
