Hump Day a good day for "50 Shades of Grey' and tie it up
the series people! Yup the VML crew and I mean Crew tied the series up last night in Lantz with a 3-0 win to force a Game 7 Friday night in Windsor. Phew! I'm glad that happened, it saves me having to take down all those Game 7 posters up all around town. It was another solid everybody working hard team effort with Captain Craig 'Old Beaver' Anderson picking up the 'Hart Hat' but it was the man between the pipes Olafr 'Smiddy' Schmidt that put on the real show stopping 40 shots. To quote 'TeeWhy the Twitter guy' "Smitty looking like Tukka Rask with a back door save to keep the VML up 1-0 late in the 2nd" yep that was highlight reel material.
Goal scorers were: Hayes, Feltmate and Normore with helpers suppled by: Parker, Gillis, Anderson Brothers and Duggan with a pair.
Rip's 'nod' goes to you guessed it 'Smiddy' with the 'Big Ohhh' between the pipes with honourable mentions to the VML CREW for wanting it.
