The VML crew put one in the 'W' column Saturday night in Liverpool.
Yep the VML crew picked up a much needed win in their quest for home ice advantage in the playoffs. Since the ole 'Ripper' wasn't at the game a little cut and paste from the Leauge site is in order.
"In the game played at Queens Place Emera Centre, Mitchell Norman lead the scoring for the visiting Valley Maple Leafs with two goals. While single goals were scored by Alex Feltmate and David Hayes.
Olafr Schmidt played a solid game in goal, stopping 32 of 34 Privateers shots fired at his goal."
I guess Mitch 'The Newf' Normore picked up the trusty 'Hard Hat' with Colin 'Willis' Gillis getting a trick of assists. Game sheet
Hopefully the crew didn't celebrate too much and rested up to be ready to give 'er' in Sackville tonight against the Blazers. I'm thinking it will be a good day for a trip in the 101 for a little Battle 101.
