Valley 4 Privateers 2
2015-01-04The crew start off 2015 the right way
with one in the 'W' column and what a nice rink to watch a game in ehhh!!!
I'm glad the League site is giving game updates again it allows me to short cut a bit with the ole cut errrrr copy and paste manouver.
" The visiting Valley Maple Leafs proved too strong for the hometown Liverpool Privateers at the Queens Place Emera Centre in Liverpool, overcoming the Privateers by a score of 4 – 2.
Scoring for the visiting Maple Leafs were Connor O’Brien with two goals and Jonathan Hunson and Matthew Viney each with one goal.
Olafr Schmidt was the winning goal tender, stopping 35 of 37 shots on goal."
The 'Hard Hat' along with Rip's 'nod' goes to Connor 'Chicken Hawk' O'Brien or 'Ohh Bee" as the crew call him with 2 goals and going for the 'Big One'. Honourable mentions to 'Smiddy' between the pipes and "Old Beaver' Anderson for helping him out with an outfileder style glove save to keep it 4-2.

Now it's time for 'Battle 101' as the Sackville Blazers are at 'the Barn'.....to take on the VML crew.
So here's your plan for the day. Read this luvly write up, action, coffee, brekky,cut down a tree, if not already accomplished, kick back, head to Windsor for a 5:30 puck drop. Then after a nice day out in the elements or I mean 'the Barn' it's home to warm up in front of the tube for a little Team Canada action. Most important part of the plan is ofcourse the 5:30 puck drop. Got it? See ya there.
