2014-12-06The VML crew get another one for the 'W' column.
Yep the crew filled the gamesheet....in the penalty column but came away with the win. It was a 'Barn Dance' with a lot of 'Toe to toe Dosey doe' going on. I'm thinking a few won't be playing in Brooklfield on Tuesday.
Peter 'Lestoil' Lister got the Hat for the Trick, that's the 'Hard Hat" for his Hat trick. Brownie chipped in with a pair and Jardine with one. Chipping in with helpers were: Ritchie, Viney, Kavanagh and Gillis with three. I was sure the 'Tow Mater' Mirtch Normore got one but it didn't make the sheet.
Anyways it should be worth the trip to Brookfield on Tuesday when these two teams meet for Round 2.
Rip's 'nod' goes to Chris 'Rubber' Clokie between the pipes with honourable mention to Lisa the trainer for getting the crew patched after the game.
Just two more sleeps errrr I mean wins til the Xmas break. Hmmm... Xmas is a four letter word.
