The VML crew lose a close one.
Unfortunately Close only counts in Horeshoes, Hand Grenades and Slow Dancing and that weren't doing any of that last night although they were a little slow at times. Yep no "Hard Hat' again although I think ole 'Smiddy' would have gotten it as he played solid between the pipes, the crew just weren't getting it done at the other end. Game sheet here.
I overheard Old, Old MacKinley(I think) saying the 'nod' should go to security. I'm not to sure about that either as the crowd wasn't there. Anyways the crew were ahead for most of the game, just not when it counted. Here's hoping they get 'er' turned around for Sunday against the Colts.
Rip's 'nod' goes to 'Smiddy' with Honourable mention to Sean 'Little Beaver' Anderson witha big glove save at the end and his good communication skills during the game giving direction to call up Dylan Riley in his first VML game.
