The Valley crew take the Home Opener 4-3 over the Glace Bay Jr. Miners.
LLoyd and Judy Rideout dropped the ceremonial puck to get things started. Lloyd and Judy were both longtime supporters of Junior Hockey in the Windsor area. Once agains thanks for all your efforts.
Well it was no 'Barn Burner' by any means but a 'W" none the less. The the 'ole Ripper' is gonna take the easy way out on this one and let you read the Hants Journal article by Carole. She's a much better reporter than I aND She also takes some luvly photo's....even in the Fog. Check them and the article out here.
Alex 'Palmolive Feltmate' got the 'Hard Hat' and Rip's 'nod' goes to Olafr 'Smiddy' Schmidt between the pips with honourable mentions to Daniel 'Chain' Keays with a hat trick of assists and to Colan ' Willis' Gillis with the winner.
